SFE PICTURE DAY- OCTOBER 10

• Our Fall Individual Picture Day will be Friday, October 10th. Please see the flyer below for ordering information. Code: EVTD8FD8B

• Paper flyers will also be sent home on October 6th.

POPCORN/COTTON CANDY EXEMPTION

• Students have the option of purchasing a popcorn or cotton candy reward at our SFE Shark Mart with Shark Bucks earned.  This reward is then provided at a designated lunch time.  

• If you prefer your child NOT purchase this reward, email your child's homeroom teacher so he/she can be added to the exemption list.  

• Please also discuss this with your child so he/she does not try to purchase this item at Shark Mart. 

• If you emailed your child’s teacher last year to remove them from access to this reward, you will still need to do it again this year as records are updated annually.

GIFTED AND TALENTED REFERRAL- DEADLINE SEPTEMBER 30

• If you are thinking about having your 1st - 5th grade student tested for GT, the following link will provide the steps to follow: Parent Referral for GT Testing

• The referral process for Kindergarten will be communicated at a later date.

• Join us for a Spirit Night at Crust Pizza on 10/6. 

• Parents, we are looking for help serving cotton candy and popcorn during lunch. Sign up to help here. 

• There will be a general PTA Meeting on October 8th at 9:00 AM in the cafeteria. We hope to see you there!

• We still need homeroom parents! Sign up here.

• Don’t forget to Join PTA! The $10 membership fee helps fund fun and enriching activities for our students!

• Stay connected to all things PTA at the SFE PTA Website, our Facebook page, and our new Instagram page.

• Pay Class Party Fees here. This is a fee paid to SFE PTA for student parties. We ask that all families contribute whether they choose to join SFE PTA or not. The activity fee is a different fee requested by the school and is paid to the school via RevTrak. If you have questions about the activity fee, please contact the school. 

• Want to volunteer at the school? There are so many opportunities! Fill out this volunteer form to learn more.

• The KHS Fillies are pleased to announce a Dance Clinic for students in Pre-K through 5th grade on October 4. This clinic serves as the Fillies’ primary fundraiser for the year. For additional details,see flyer below.

• The Kingwood Park Silver Star Dance Team is hosting their yearly Fall Dance Clinic on October 25, 2025. See flyer below for more details. 

•  Kingwood High School and Kingwood Park basketball programs host a youth basketball league each year.The program begins on November 3rd. See flyer below for more details or on their website kingwoodbasketball.com/cbl.
