CLASS PLACEMENT FOR 2026-2027

  • Creating class lists each year is a comprehensive process that considers students' social/ emotional and academic needs, as well as their learning styles, peer relationships, and academic programming. Each child's placement is made with careful thought and deliberation to support his/her growth and ensure a successful school year. Current teachers, relevant support staff, and administrators contribute their insights into the placement process.
  • Due to the range of factors involved, we are unable to accommodate specific teacher requests from parents. We genuinely believe that all teachers at SFE are dedicated to providing each student with a positive and productive school experience. We kindly ask that you refrain from emailing requests for specific teachers.
  • If you have any information that you believe would be helpful for us to consider regarding your child's needs for the upcoming year, please feel free to discuss this with your child's current teacher, Mrs. McKinney, Mrs. Lackey, or Mr. Bushnell. Thank you for your understanding and for trusting that our priority is always your child's well-being and success.

Any medications (including EpiPens and Inhalers), not collected by the end of the last day of school will be destroyed according to district policy.
  • The last day to pick up medication is May 29th at 3:30 pm.
  • Health & medication forms for next school year can be filled out and should be dated after June 1st. Parent/guardian should return the new forms and medications together at the start of next school year. Please remember each medication kept in the school clinic requires a separate Medication Authorization form.
