WAVES OF PAGES READING PROGRAM |
- SFE has partnered with the Waves of Pages Reading program again this year. With your help, your child can earn one FREE admission to one of our Six Flags Parks, Splashtown, by reading 10 hours (600 minutes) during the program.

We are pleased to announce the return of SFE’s 3rd Annual Shark Showcase that will be held on Thursday, February 26th, during our SFE Open House. All students are invited to participate!

This event has been designed to showcase student creativity, build problem solving skills, and promote enthusiasm for learning for ALL of our SFE Sharks! This is an at-home optional project that will allow students to share their learning and interests with other families in the SFE community.

Our SFE yearbook design is in full swing and it's the perfect time to get your yearbook ordered. You can head to Treering to order your yearbooks. We also need your help with sharing any pictures you have taken throughout the year. You can share those through the yearbook app/website HERE or drop them into our Google Drive folders. Pay Class Party Fees here. This is a fee paid to SFE PTA for student parties. We ask that all families contribute whether they choose to join SFE PTA or not. The activity fee is a different fee requested by the school and is paid to the school via RevTrak. If you have questions about the activity fee, please contact the school.

The Mental Health and Wellness Team is excited to announce the Annual Mental Health and Wellness Fair, scheduled for Thursday, February 19 from 6:00–8:00 PM at the Humble Civic Center. This year’s theme is Carnival of Calm: A Mindful Masquerade. Please see flyer for more details.

INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS PUBLIC SHOWCASE

The community is invited to review and provide feedback on instructional materials that Humble ISD is considering for adoption as part of the IMRA Cycle 2025. The materials include Secondary Mathematics (Grades 6-8), Algebra I, Algebra II, Algebraic Reasoning, Geometry, and Pre-Calculus, (B) Elementary English/Spanish Language Arts and Reading (Grades K-5) and (C) a new Secondary Social Studies “African American Studies” course. Once adopted, these materials will be implemented in classrooms for the 2026–2027 school year.
- There are several opportunities to view materials in-person from January 5 through February 27, 2026.
