STAAR TESTING INFORMATION |
-
In April, SFE students in grades 3rd-5th will participate in the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR Test).
- SFE will NOT be open to campus visitors or any grade level lunch visitors on testing days.
- Parents of 3rd-5th Grade Students:
- Please schedule any necessary doctor/dentist appointments for later in the afternoons on these dates if needed. The test is untimed, but must be completed during the school day. If you have any questions, please contact our Campus Testing Coordinator, Emily Larson 281-641-2643.
- The testing schedule by grade level is below.
|
-
Goal 96% – Year to date: 95.9%
- Please make it a priority to have your child on time to school (by 7:55 AM) and present every day (official attendance time 9:03 AM).
|
-
As the weather has warmed up and we are in our spring months, we want to remind families to check students’ clothing for appropriate fit and length. Over the winter, many children have experienced growth spurts, and shorts, skorts, and skirts that fit well a few months ago may now be shorter than intended. In addition, some current shorts and skorts styles may be too short for the school setting.
-
To help maintain a comfortable and respectful learning environment for all students, please ensure that shorts, skorts and skirts are of appropriate length and follow our school dress guidelines. Taking a moment to review spring and summer clothing now can help avoid any distractions during the school day.
- We appreciate your support in helping our students come to school dressed for success and ready to learn.
