Personalized Counseling

POG gear

In Humble ISD, we take a personalized approach to counseling, ensuring every student feels seen, supported, and valued. Each elementary student receives one individual meeting per year. This session provide space for students to explore their goals, aspirations, and the pathways available to them in Humble ISD. Beyond individual meetings, counselors also partner with teachers in the classroom, creating additional opportunities for students to grow and succeed. This collaborative approach equips students with the guidance, resources, and confidence to pursue thier personal goals, explore career pathways, and prepare for lifelong success.

Personalized 1:1 Meetings

1:1 Meetings

The purpose of 1:1 individual meetings is to provide a more personalized counseling experience to students across the campus. These meetings provide a whole child approach to ensuring that students are identifying their own strengths, goals, and challenges, while also building connections at school, home, and within the community. The individual meeting allows counselors to personalize continued support, as needed, throughout the school year.

This semester your school counselor will be meeting with PreK, Kindergarten, 1st grade, 2nd grade, and 5th graders with the Humble ISD Consent for School Counseling Services.
