Say Something Week

The Counselors are inviting students and staff to participate in Say Something Week, taking place March 30 through April 3, 2026. This meaningful week encourages everyone to use their voice to promote kindness, safety, and respect while building a stronger, more connected school community.

Say Something Week is more than dress up days. It is a chance for every Cougar to be seen, heard, and empowered to make a positive impact.

Assistant Principals Week

Please help us celebrate them by submitting a message on this form. You can add your name (or not), and our APs will receive your praise either way.   We know they have had a positive impact on your life, students' lives, and campus life, and we want them to hear directly from you.

Womens History Month

Join us as we recognize a woman whose journey proves that determination is not bound by time. As a proud Latina who earned her degree later in life, Crystal Williams faced challenges head-on and turned them into opportunities for growth and impact. Her accomplishment is more than a personal milestone. It opened doors, strengthened her voice, and set an example for her daughters and young women in her community that it is never too late to pursue your dreams. She encourages others to embrace their unique path and recognize that success may look different for everyone, but every step forward matters.

Reflecting on her own middle school years, Ms. Williams reminds students that feeling left out is common and that true confidence comes from staying authentic and knowing your worth. She envisions a future where women are fully supported in leadership, education, and opportunity, and where their stories inspire the next generation to break barriers. Her message is simple but powerful: dream big, stay resilient, learn from every setback, and never forget that you are enough just as you are.

Staff Spotlights

Students of the Month

Students of the Week

Our KMS band program continues to hit all the right notes with an outstanding performance at UIL. The Symphonic Band earned Superior ratings in Sightreading, demonstrating strong musicianship and preparation. The Wind Ensemble raised the bar even higher, receiving Superior ratings in both Concert and Sightreading. These results reflect the dedication, talent, and hard work of our students and directors, and are a true point of Cougar pride.

STAAR TEST CALENDAR

Students who are absent may be pulled to test at any time during the testing window to make up a missed test.  Please contact our Data and Assessment Facilitator with any questions.  Melissa.Balcom@HumbleISD.net

Safety and Security

Student & staff safety is our top priority. Please review our Campus Safety & Security Plan and discuss safety tips & reminders with your student. Staff & students will engage in campus safety drills, practice safety protocols, and participate in important safety discussions throughout the school year.

See Something, Say Something! iHelp is an anonymous tip line for students, parents, and staff to anonymously share tips that relate to the safety of our school and students. Students can access iHelp in MyHumble or by downloading the app. See the district iHelp webpage for more information.

It is mandatory for all students to wear their school-issued ID cards visibly at all times while on school premises. This policy is designed to enhance the safety & security of our students and staff, while also streamlining various administrative processes within the school. We kindly request your support & cooperation in ensuring that your child wears their ID card visibly every day. If your child misplaces their ID card, they will need to purchase a temporary ID for $1 or a new ID for $5. Payments can be made at this link using Revtrack: bit.ly/KMSBadges.
