The Counselors are inviting students and staff to participate in Say Something Week, taking place March 30 through April 3, 2026. This meaningful week encourages everyone to use their voice to promote kindness, safety, and respect while building a stronger, more connected school community.
Say Something Week is more than dress up days. It is a chance for every Cougar to be seen, heard, and empowered to make a positive impact. |

This month, we are proud to recognize a dedicated Kingwood Middle School volunteer who leads with a heart for service. As the Director of Sales at GrowthForce for the past 20 years, Michal Johnson has built a career focused not only on professional success but also on encouraging and supporting the people around her. She believes leadership is about lifting others up, whether that is helping coworkers grow, supporting clients, or offering encouragement to those she meets each day.
Mrs. Johnson’s commitment to service also extends beyond the workplace. Since the age of 22, she has been actively involved in church through Journey Church’s Women’s Ministry, where she inspires and supports others in their personal and spiritual growth. She hopes to leave a legacy defined not by what she has gained, but by the positive impact she has made on others. Her message to students is simple but powerful: discover your purpose, believe in your value, and remember that confidence grows when you understand who you are and how you can contribute to the world around you.

We are also excited to recognize the founder of I AM Resource, a consulting firm that helps ministries and nonprofits grow in leadership, strategy, and community impact. As a speaker, author, and ministry leader of The Hub Houston, Nicole R. Banks is making a meaningful difference in the lives of others. She shares an important message with students: do not compare your journey to someone else’s. Your gifts, strengths, and purpose will unfold over time.
Ms. Banks also shares a powerful vision for the future, one where women are fully supported in their leadership, their ideas, and their ability to contribute meaningfully to society. She believes women bring wisdom, compassion, and strength to families, communities, and organizations, and that when those voices are encouraged and respected, everyone benefits. Her leadership and commitment to serving others make her an inspiring example for our Cougar community.

Student & staff safety is our top priority. Please review our Campus Safety & Security Plan and discuss safety tips & reminders with your student. Staff & students will engage in campus safety drills, practice safety protocols, and participate in important safety discussions throughout the school year.
See Something, Say Something! iHelp is an anonymous tip line for students, parents, and staff to anonymously share tips that relate to the safety of our school and students. Students can access iHelp in MyHumble or by downloading the app. See the district iHelp webpage for more information.
It is mandatory for all students to wear their school-issued ID cards visibly at all times while on school premises. This policy is designed to enhance the safety & security of our students and staff, while also streamlining various administrative processes within the school. We kindly request your support & cooperation in ensuring that your child wears their ID card visibly every day. If your child misplaces their ID card, they will need to purchase a temporary ID for $1 or a new ID for $5. Payments can be made at this link using Revtrack: bit.ly/KMSBadges.
