Womens History Month

We are excited to spotlight the incredible women in our community! Whether you are leading in your profession, mentoring others, serving through volunteer work, or impacting lives every day, we want to celebrate you.  Our students deserve to see powerful examples of women shaping the world around them.

If you are a parent or community member who has made a contribution that supports, uplifts, or advances women, girls, and our community, we invite you to share your story with us.  Please complete the Google Form to be considered for our upcoming spotlight series.

At KMS, the D in PRIDE stands for Determination.

During Women’s History Month, Alysa Liu is a powerful example of determination. Liu showed that determination early in her career when she became the youngest champion at the U.S. Figure Skating Championships at just 13. She continued working toward bigger goals, pushing herself through intense training and competition.

Her dedication paid off when she won gold at the 2026 Winter Olympics, becoming the first American woman in 24 years to win Olympic gold in women’s figure skating.

Alysa Liu’s journey shows that determination means continuing to work hard, even when the path is challenging. With persistence and belief in yourself, incredible achievements are possible.

What is something you are determined to achieve, even if it takes practice and perseverance?

Congratulations to the Summer Creek High School girls basketball team on their big win at the State Championship!

Safety and Security

Student & staff safety is our top priority. Please review our Campus Safety & Security Plan and discuss safety tips & reminders with your student. Staff & students will engage in campus safety drills, practice safety protocols, and participate in important safety discussions throughout the school year.

See Something, Say Something! iHelp is an anonymous tip line for students, parents, and staff to anonymously share tips that relate to the safety of our school and students. Students can access iHelp in MyHumble or by downloading the app. See the district iHelp webpage for more information.

It is mandatory for all students to wear their school-issued ID cards visibly at all times while on school premises. This policy is designed to enhance the safety & security of our students and staff, while also streamlining various administrative processes within the school. We kindly request your support & cooperation in ensuring that your child wears their ID card visibly every day. If your child misplaces their ID card, they will need to purchase a temporary ID for $1 or a new ID for $5. Payments can be made at this link using Revtrack: bit.ly/KMSBadges.
