  • Foster Elementary Dismissal Transportation Changes Procedure: If a parent is aware on the morning of the change, prior to the child getting to school, it's helpful for a note with the change sent with the student so it can be handed to the teacher at the start of the school day. When the method of transportation changes during the school day make sure that you call Tammy Fife or Karen Drew so that one of them can call in the teacher's room and let the teacher know. Ms. Fife's number is 281-641-1401 and Mrs. Drew's number is 281-641-1403. You may also email the teacher, but if the teacher doesn't have the opportunity to check her/his email during the day because she/he is working with students leaving them unable to check their email and unaware of a change. Please remember, changes cannot be made after 2:45 PM.

  • Currently all Foster students have a paper wristband attached to the handle of their backpack. Please do not cut it off. We have numerous ways to verify and check off how students get home, and the wristband provides an additional way that affords a quick visual distinction since each dismissal method has a designated color.

  • Breakfast is free for all Humble ISD students again this school year.

Texas law prohibits students from using cell phones and other personal communication devices during the school day

The Humble ISD School Board has approved policies following a state-wide, required ban of personal communication devices for students beginning in the 2025-2026 school year.

House Bill 1481, passed by the Texas Legislature, prohibits students from using personal communication devices while on school property during the school day.  The “school day” is defined as when a student enters the school building and ends when the dismissal bell rings.  The ban includes classrooms, locker rooms, cafeterias, hallways, passing periods and restrooms. Read more regarding devices included, consequences and exceptions.
