BBE Greenbelt and Gazebo Park Permission Form
We are very fortunate to live in a community that offers surrounding greenbelts and parks. Over the course of the school year our classes may take nature walks on the greenbelt or travel across the street to the Bear Branch Gazebo and Park as a special recess or picnic. In order for your child to participate, please complete the permission form for the 2025-2026 School Year,
Please complete the Health Related Services Consent Form so the nurse can support your student.
Please complete the Counseling Consent Form so the counselor can support your student.
Beginning September 3, you are more than welcome to have lunch on campus with your Bear.
All visitors must check-in to the front office upon arrival, have your driver’s license scanned, and wear your Visitor’s Badge while on campus. Lunch visitors will be directed to sit at the designated visitor table with their student.
This is a special time for you and your student. Other students will not be permitted to join you for lunch. We kindly ask that you limit your visit to once a week as this time is an important opportunity for students to build relationships and social skills with their peers.
Eating outside utilizing the picnic tables is an option every day. Simply check your child out of school and back in on these days. Birthday treats are absolutely welcome. We just ask that you arrange that with your child's teacher due to potential allergies.
BBE Happenings
Hello, we're glad you're here! Everybody counts at BBE!
Start with Hello Week kicks off Attendance Awareness and Everybody Counts, emphasizing the importance of showing up every day to support each other and student success. This year, we’re proud to also incorporate the BBE PTA’s Everybody Counts program with a focus on creating a safe, caring school environment. Through fun dress-up days and school-wide activities, we encourage students to build good attendance habits while fostering kindness, inclusion, and safety. Together, we’re helping every child feel valued and ready to learn.
The Kids Heart Challenge is here!

This year’s event is more than just fun; it’s also our school’s community service project in partnership with the American Heart Association. Students will learn healthy habits while helping kids with special hearts through donations to charity and supporting families right here in our community.
Thank you for supporting our school and the American Heart Association’s mission to build a Nation of Lifesavers.
Counselor's Corner

You have probably seen a communication from Humble ISD about partnering with me and giving students permission to participate in routine counseling services. This gives your student an opportunity to work with me. Please complete the Counseling Consent Form to Opt-In or Opt-Out of school counseling services as soon as possible so that I know how to support your Bear while they are at school.

Some things that I do as a counselor are guidance lessons, individual meetings, PBIS and academic planning. In guidance, I teach the Great 8 Skills for life. This first 9 weeks, I will teach a lesson on Optimistic Thinking, I want all Bears to think that they can reach their goals! Next 9 weeks, I will teach students about Self Management and how they can get through things in life that are exciting and challenging. After the new year, we will focus on Goal Directed Behavior. For our 5th graders, this will be a time we start talking about courses for the next year and what they want for their future. At the end of the year, I will teach lessons about relationship skills, how to make friends and how to be a friend. I am also so excited to have our personalized counseling meetings or one on ones, where I get to learn about all the wonderful goals students have for themselves! A one on one helps students explore what they are good at and what areas they want to grow in. If you have anything I can help support you, your Bear or family with, please reach out. Please complete the Counseling Consent Form to Opt-In or Opt-Out of school counseling services as soon as possible.
