We do not take parent request in regards to class placements as there are many factors involved when creating class list.  However, we do value the partnership with our families. You are invited to provide feedback that can be used to better match students with teachers.

Just as each child is unique, so is each teacher.  Complete one survey per child.

All student placements are finalized with administration.

STAAR Testing occurs on the dates below. Visitors and Volunteers will not be allowed due to test security and confidentiality. In order to keep test security, many staff have testing/monitoring responsibilities. We also have revised schedules. Therefore, no outside deliveries and no visitors or volunteers.

Students should keep all electronics at home or in their backpacks.

Testing will begin around 8:30 and students will have the entire day. A snack and water will be provided but students are welcome to bring their own snacks.

Humble ISD acknowledges and respects a parents request to "opt out" of STAAR testing, however, due to federal and state laws, the district is unable to honor request because it is not an option offered in Texas. Please visit our FAQ on Humble's Student Assessment Website for further information:

If your student rides a motorbike, please help in discussing safety.  We have had an influx of motorbikes riding through our playground, parking lot area after school hours.  It's causing safety issues with students that are playing on the playgrounds or staff walking to their cars and being almost run over by the bikes.  Please help in discussing safety and being mindful of their surroundings.

Spanish Immersion Program: Application open NOW through April 10, 2026

The application window for the Humble ISD Spanish Immersion Program for the 2026-2027 school year is open through 5 p.m. Friday, April 10, 2026. Parents will be notified of acceptance into the program during the week of June 8, 2026.

The Spanish Immersion Program, which begins at the start of a student’s first grade school year, is a language enrichment program that teaches Spanish as a second language to fluent English speaking students.

Checkouts and Clubs

Parents, if you check out your students during the school day, they are not allowed to return for clubs or after school activities.  For safety reasons and to account for all students, once you are checked out, you may not return back to campus.  Thank you for following our practices.
