We are helping our district's Mosaic program, here is where the donations goes:
This school year, our special needs adults have chosen to collect old, worn-out tennis shoes for recycling. The recycled shoes help fund transportation for special needs adults, providing rides to essential destinations such as day programs, community centers, medical appointments, and even grocery stores.
This project gives our adults not only a valuable job, but also the opportunity to give back—and a deep sense of purpose.
